How do the proportions look?? Any suggestions??

- I am an artist specializing in animation, illustration, and digital arts. I currently reside in Chicago, IL. I will soon be graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art with a Bachelors in Media Arts and Animation. I am currently working on 3D and Flash animations in my free time. I am also working on a graphic novel staring my two characters Bleep and Mcwill. This will be released, along with my demo reel in Summer 2010!
Ha! I really like these character designs. To me the proportions look fine. I like the shapes you used for them both.

ReplyDeleteInteresting designs. Although - Im a little confused by the way the shadows angle back like a down shot. Especially on the taller guy, with the bottoms of his feet so straight, makes me think they might be on slightly different floor grids.
or maybe its just me. best of luck with your graphic novel!
i think they are cool too, it just might be a bit tougher to pose out the bigger buy since hes so much more graphic and his shape seems like it might be limiting.. might have to break the model a bit. but i might just be shooting smoke outta my ass
